About the role

We are looking for a professional and highly motivated Lawyer with demonstrated experience in the Family and Federal Circuit Court of Australia.

A good understanding of matters including property division for married parties and de-facto partners, including same sex partners, matters involving children’s ongoing care arrangements following separation, spousal maintenance, child support and intervention orders will be beneficial to your success in this role.

We are looking for someone who is able to work full time and be based in either our Geelong or Melbourne offices with flexibility to work from home as well.

You will need:

  • Two to five years post-admission experience in family and relationship law
  • Proven experience practising in a team environment in a family and relationship law department
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and work independently where required
  • Ability to interact confidently with clients and build effective working relationships
  • Proven ability to provide an excellent quality of work
  • Ability to develop referrers
