About the role

We are looking for a professional and highly motivated Lawyer/ Associate with demonstrated experience in Family & Relationship Law.

A good understanding of matters involving property division and financial issues for married and de-facto parties, children’s arrangements following separation, spousal maintenance, child support and intervention orders will be beneficial to your success in this role.

We are looking for someone who is available to work full time and be based in our Melbourne, Geelong or Torquay office, with flexibility to work from home.

You will need:

  • Two to five years post-admission experience in Family & Relationship law
  • Proven experience practising in a team environment
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and work independently where required
  • Ability to interact confidently with clients and build effective working relationships
  • Proven ability to produce quality work
  • Ability to develop referrers and engage in business development

You will deliver:

  • Excellent client focused service
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Efficient time management to maintain control of key priorities

You will bring:

  • Solid Family & Relationship law knowledge
  • Proven ability to work in a high volume team
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills
  • Positive, proactive and flexible attitude
  • Experience with Lexis Affinity and iManage is desirable but not essential
