Legal Assistant – Corporate & Commercial (12-month parental leave contract)

About the role

We are looking for a professional, highly motivated and experienced Legal Assistant to support our Corporate & Commercial team on a 12-month parental leave contract (with potential for extension).  

You will be organised, motivated and feel confident working autonomously and as part of a close team, with excellent attention to detail and a focus on responding to requests in a timely manner.  

We are looking for someone who can work full time, or part time at least four days per week, which may include working across five days with reduced hours. 

You will deliver:

  • Excellent client focused service 
  • Accuracy and attention to detail 
  • Efficient time management to maintain control of key priorities 

You will bring:

  • A high level of legal assistant/secretary experience 
  • Proven ability to work in a high-volume environment  
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills  
  • Proven ability to work well within a team  
  • Positive, proactive and flexible attitude 
  • Experience with Lexis Affinity desirable, but not essential
