Property and Commercial Lawyer (2-3 years PAE)

About the role

We are currently seeking a Property and Commercial Lawyer to work across our Property & Development and Corporate & Commercial teams.  You will have two to three years’ post admission experience in Property & Development, with some general Commercial experience, demonstrated attention to detail, an eagerness to learn and a can-do attitude.

Ideally you will have knowledge and experience across a range of property-related matters including:

  • Preparation and review of contracts of sale
  • End-to-End conveyancing (Residential)
  • Complex subdivisions and off the plan conveyancing
  • Building contracts
  • Retirement village advices
  • Leasing
  • Providing guidance on land tax and duties
  • Family law, various trust and Wills & Estates property transfers
  • Loan agreements
  • Experience with PEXA and InfoTrack

General commercial experience will be looked upon favourably but is not essential.

In time, you will be responsible for managing files from start to finish with lots of interaction with clients as you support them through their property transaction. You will be mentored by two senior property lawyers and have the support of our team of paralegals, as well as the support and mentoring from our Corporate & Commercial team.

You will bring:

  • A minimum of two (2) years’ post admission experience in property and development.

  • Proven ability to work well within a team
