Richard’s experience in litigation and dispute resolution has been compiled over almost 30 years of practice. His clients have included a diverse range of financial institutions, small to medium businesses, land and home owners, receivers, liquidators, corporate administrators and trustees of bankrupt estates.

Richard has conducted general commercial litigation, dispute resolution, property disputes, trade practices disputes, insolvency, and debt recovery in both State and Federal jurisdictions.

He is experienced in Domestic Building disputes in both VCAT and the State Courts. In this respect Richard has acted for property owners, owners corporations, builders and subcontractors.

Richard’s litigation experience extends to property and leasing dispute matters in VCAT acting for land owners (landlords), tenants, owners corporations, owners corporation managers and lot owners.

Richard is experienced in providing advice in relation to corporate and personal insolvency matters. He has appeared on behalf of clients in Court on corporate insolvency and personal bankruptcy matters. He has also acted for insolvency practitioners in relation to insolvency advice and preference actions as well as examinations under the Corporations Act.

Richard is approachable and understands client concerns in relation to litigation. Accordingly, his approach is to attempt to resolve litigation matters as soon as possible for clients in order to minimise their concerns.
