Lauren is an experienced Wills & Estates lawyer, who has worked exclusively in this area of law since 2018. She began her career with Coulter Legal as a paralegal before progressing to a lawyer.
Prior to rejoining Coulter Legal in 2024, Lauren worked at a law firm that focused on Probate, Letters of Administration, and Deceased Estate matters nationwide and supported Australia's leading online estate planning platform. She can assist clients through all stages of estate planning and estate administration matters. Lauren also has a particular interest in matters involving decision‑making capacity, elder abuse concerns, and VCAT Guardianship & Administration applications. With a passion for assisting clients through complex or difficult situations, including the loss of a loved one, or discussions around estate planning wishes, Lauren aims to provide her clients with clear and comprehensive advice so each client's matter can be dealt with compassionately and efficiently.
Lauren has been recognised on several occasions for her commitment to innovation in the Wills & Estates profession and the delivery of high-level legal services. She has been a finalist in the Lawyers Weekly 30 Under 30 Awards (Wills & Estates category) in 2022, 2023, and 2024, in the Lawyers Weekly Australian Law Awards 2025 (Mentor of the Year category), and a finalist for the Flos Greig Trailblazer Award at the Lawyers Weekly Women in Law Awards in 2025. During her studies at Deakin University, she received the Vice‑Chancellor’s Medal for Outstanding Contribution to University Life and won the Geelong Youth Award for Leadership and Positive Role Modelling in 2019. Lauren is currently Vice-President of the Geelong Law Association. She is the Immediate Past President of the Deakin Law School Alumni Chapter and a former Director of the Geelong Animal Welfare Society (GAWS).
